Well, guys, here's the latest. I got a box of strings. Unfortunately they still owe me 188 sets of lights (we tapped them out). So I started at the top of my list and am sending to those that I can. I haven't saved any for myself, you guys are getting all that I have. The next box should come in the first week in Aug.
Here's what's shipping:
Jeff Doty
Michael Propsom
Steve Kinnaird
Larry Presnall
Josh House
Jimmie Sorrels
Terry Stowell
Bruce Holbrook
That's all I have. There was no logical way to do this and get everyone SOME strings. Seamed like a logistical nightmare for me to get you all partial orders and then go back and fill the remainder. So I started at the top of my list (which was written in the order I received payment) and worked my way down. The rest will go out as soon as I get them.
Not sure about shipping at this point. I'll let you all know when I get back from the P.O.
Thanks P

Thanks Paul, August works well for me as I am on vacation for a while after this weekend. Thanks for absorbing the headaches on this.

Josh, I'll get you shipping today as well. The estimater on USPS.com was saying it would be $30 for a 3 lb box. OUCH!!! That will make the strings "not such a bargain anymore".
I'll get back to you later today. P

Ouch is right! Well I'll know for next time. I get a lot of stuff from your side of the boarder and paying an arm and a leg is sometimes part of the deal. Do the best you can and I will pay what I have to. It's not like it is your fault I have to pay all this shipping.

I think I the future I will get my strings on this side of the boarder.

Josh

Josh, I assume you aren't in a hurry for these. If not, I'll send them the cheapest way possible.

paul, have a look at parcel post as opposed to priority mail. and lable them as guitar parts to avoid the duty holdups. i get sizable packages shipped from a supplier in canada and the most it has ever been is $14 for 10 or 15 lbs. maybe usps is just being a rip off merchant.crazymanmichael38547.6498611111

I think it's just their online thing. I took it in and shipped it for a little over $5. Cheaper than most of the U.S. priority boxes that I shipped. Go figure.

I'm feeling a lot better now. Looks like this will still be a good deal after all. I am not in a rush. I've got a great supplier for D'add strings and have a few boxes sitting here.
